Our dental services include teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, extracting and oral surgeries such as root canals and vital pulpotomies. With our digital dental x-ray unit, we are also able perform high quality intra-oral x-rays that aid in diagnosing dental disease. As a new client, we feel it’s important to establish a good relationship prior to your pet being dropped off for their teeth cleaning. Because we have to perform a thorough exam before the procedure, we use this appointment time to get to know you, answer all your questions, and provide you with a detailed and personalized estimate for what we recommend.
We do our best to avoid unexpected expenses, but unfortunately, some dental problems cannot be known until after your pet is under anesthesia. Please keep in mind that some pets have underlying dental disease that turns a routine dental cleaning into something more akin to dental surgery. Imagine the difference between a routine dental hygiene visit for yourself versus getting all of your wisdom teeth extracted! If you have any questions or concerns at all, please do not hesitate to ask… either at the time you schedule your appointment or with the vet when you are here.
